Out and About

Trogir is just a 15 minute drive from Split Airport - from here you can either hire a car or take a taxi to the apartment.

Split is about 12 miles from Trogir, and can be reached by bus directly from Trogir (a single fare is less the £2.00).

Ciovo island, where the apartment is located, is very popular with the locals in the summer months, especially the beach at Okrug Gornji, which is easily within walking distance. Elsewhere on the island, you will find a variety of pebbly beaches, some busy, some secluded.

On the mainland, towards Medina, you will find a waterslide that is located right on the water's edge, adjacent to another stretch of pebbly beach. This is about a 30-minute walk west of Trogir, or can be reached by bus or taxi. Along the way are a number of cafes and restaurants, all offering good value for money.

If you have a car, other places to visit include the Makarska Riviera on the road past Split, via Omis, and in the other direction Sibenik, Primosten, Krka National Park and many more.
